For over 90 years, the Martindale-Hubbell® Bar Register has been a unique guide to the legal community's most eminent professionals. The Bar Register lists only those select law practices that have earned the highest rating in the Martindale-Hubbell® Law Directory and have been designated by their colleagues as preeminent in their field. Fewer than 5% of all law firms qualify to be included in the Bar Register.

This rating is the result of a peer review system based upon the confidential opinions of practicing attorneys and members of the judiciary. The Peer Review Ratings® combine a general ethical standards rating and a legal ability rating based on performance in five key areas: legal knowledge, analytical capabilities, judgment, communication ability and legal experience.
