Chris is an associate with Quaid & Quaid, LLC. He practices in the area of collaborative family law and family law litigation, handling divorce, custody, adoption, and enforcement cases, as well as handling some small estate wills and probate matters, and small amount of general civil and corporate litigation.

Chris received his J.D. from Southern Methodist University in Dallas. He received his B.A. in English Composition with a Certification in Technical Writing from the University of North Texas, where he graduated with honors.

Prior to graduating from college, Chris studied abroad in England, studying the history and literature of England, Scotland, and Wales. Chris returned to England in law school to study for a summer at University College in Oxford, taking a comprehensive look at the English Legal System. While in law school, Chris also studied mediation and dispute resolution at the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine University.

Chris is the former President of the Collaborative Professionals of Dallas; President of the Collin County Young Lawyers Association; and was listed on the Texas Super Lawyers – Rising Stars List in 2009, 2010 and 2011. He is also a member of several committees for the Collaborative Law Institute of Texas and the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals.
