Adult Disabled Children
Disabled children and adult disabled children raise unique issues related to living arrangements, support and long term care arrangements that frequently must be in place to survive the parents. There are many complex issues surrounding continuing care for disabled children and adult disabled children, which make this an area of special interest. The law provides for increased support and continuing support beyond the age of eighteen for children with disabilities, but certain criteria must be met in order to have access to those funds. At Quaid & Quaid, LLC, we understand the laws involved with continuing support for children with disabilities and have extensive experience with providing support not only for the future of disabled children, but overcoming the obstacles for continuing support and providing for the future needs of adult disabled children.
